Hello and welcome to the home page of KIKI Japanese Cooking Studio!
KIKI Japanese Cooking Studio offers various Japanese homecooking lessons for tourists and
overseas residents living in Japan.
In our lessons you can learn about the rich traditions of Japanese homecooking - in particular,
the importance of the seasons in the Japanese cuisine. We can offer you a unique experience that can fit into any travel itinerary or daily schedule you may have - including lessons in the evening for dinner!
Lessons are held in a quiet residential neighbourhood close to central Tokyo, creating a relaxed
environment for learning and tasting very different to a trip to a restaurant. We devise recipes and lessons so that you can easily make Japanese food in your own homes.
If you have any queries or special requests, please do not hesitate to contact us. We look forward to meeting you!
After graduating from university, Yoshie worked as a flight attendant for ANA. After retiring from ANA, she spent 20 years working in hospitals and various public institutions as a
psychology therapist; however, she always dreamed of one day having a job in food and catering. Whilst living in the USA and more recently during her regular stay in Italy, she
often held dinner parties where she introduced her friends and colleagues to Japanese home cooking. Now, she has finally been able to turn her dream into reality by opening
her own Japanese home cooking studio - “季喜 KIKI” – in winter of 2019, aimed at teaching both residents and tourists from abroad all about Japanese home cooking. She holds
classes in both English and Italian, so that she has a dream of holding Japanese cooking
classes in Italy; to spread her love for Japanese cuisine there too!
Yoshie is a registered teacher at わしょクックWashocook (Shinjuku branch).
季喜KIKI Japanese Cooking Studio offers you various cooking classes of Japanese tradirional home cooking below.
Please take Toei OEDO Line (subway) bound for Tochomae and Hikarigaoka, then get off at Ochiai-minaminagasaki Sttion(E33). It's 12 minutes ride from Shinjuku.

We had so much fun learning how to cook “tonkatsu” and “edamame rice”.
Instructions are very clear and explained well step by step which makes it very easy to follow!~
Surprisingly even beginners like me can still make good food at the end of the class! ( Yep, yoshie-san saves me a lot while I messed it so many times lol)
And the food tastes soooooo good!
Thanks so much for your kindness, passion and patience️
Highly recommend this class!

We made such yummy food with Yoshie-san! Thanks to her clear guidance and
instructions, I was able to successfully cook tonkatsu for the first time in my life.
Not only was it super fun, it was also super super delicious!!!
I would love to go again to learn how to cook more delicious Japanese dishes :)
Location molto bella e accogliente.
Yoshie San parla bene diverse lingue (italiano, inglese e ovviamente giapponese)!
Very nice and comfortable location. Yoshie San speaks several languages (Italian, English and Japanese of course). She is kind, funny and an expert in cooking...her classes are very interesting and to be tried! Even if you are going to stay in Tokyo only for a short stay, a Japanese cooking lesson will let you to find out peculiarity and ingredients of delicious dishes that you will eat and enjoy at the restaurant.

Sin lugar a dudas la señora Yoshie es exigente en el arte de la cocina japonesa. Pasamos un momento muy agradable rodeados de gente muy simpática y fina. Muy agradecido por la invitación !!
Without a doubt Mrs. Yoshie is demanding in the art of Japanese cuisine. We had a very pleasant time surrounded by very nice and fine people. Very grateful for the invitation !!
It is an experience that you cannot miss if you travel to Japan. You will see and feel Japan inside.
I attended a cooking class with Yoshie as part of a recent trip to Japan and I
would highly recommend! She taught us how to make Japanese fried chicken and artsy bento boxes, and the best part - we got to eat what we made afterwards! Yoshie was a very good and patient teacher. A unique experience!
